The more I learn about Ghostscript and your tool, the more I love it. I found that the latest version of Ghostscript is version 8.0. And it has a new pdfwrite setting called "ebook", which is another option besides "screen", "printer", etc. I figured out how to modify your "fpdf098f.tcl" file to use this setting. This seems to give me the most optimal file size.
